Youtube Videos Not Working

Every video i search is not working, i'm getting the message "cant play this video", could you please fix it ?

Are you using the beta version 1.1.8? Please click SKYBOX's Global Settings and turn on Show Stats to check the version number.

The issue should be fixed in the LIVE version 1.1.7. You can temporarily roll back to LIVE version 1.1.7 and see if it works.

On Quest store, login your Meta account, find SKYBOX VR Player, scroll down the page, then you will find "Version", please click the dropdown menu to select "LIVE: 1.1.7".

On your Quest, find SKYBOX VR Player in your App Library, click the three dots on the upper-right corner of SKYBOX. Then you will find the Update button. Just click it and wait for the installation.

I have the same problem, not all videos but most of them on Youtube, I've got ""cant play this video""

This does NOT work. Rolling back the version to 1.1.7 has the same issue, same with version 1.1.6

Tried clearing cache, resetting Skybox, installing and uninstalling. It still does the same thing, "Can't play video" error on 99% of the videos, the 1% of the videos that work are videos less than 4320p resolution and have a buffer speed of 0.07/ This is insane as I have a 1GB internet speed.

Could you please share with us the "Info" level logs? We'd like to check the logs to further investigate the issue.

You just need to click SKYBOX's Global Settings, change the Logging Levels to "Info", reproduce the issue, then click the BUG icon in the upper-right corner of Global Settings, and send us a bug report attached with logs(tick the "upload logs" box). Thank you.

We fixed the YouTube buffering issue in v1.1.8(2654). You can switch to v1.1.8 channel and have a try.

On Quest store, login your Meta account, find SKYBOX VR Player, scroll down the page, then you will find "Version", please click the dropdown menu to select "v1.1.8 Release: 1.1.8".

On your Quest, find SKYBOX VR Player in your App Library, click the three dots on the upper-right corner of SKYBOX. Then you will find the Update button. Just click it and wait for the installation.
