Hi there. I'm using a insta360 x3 camera to capture 5.7k 360 videos at 30fps and watch it in quest 1 / skybox (which works great btw).

The videos are exported from a proprietary insta360 format to mp4 and I have the option to choose between x264 or x265 codec.

Considering that file size is not an issue and the quest 1 hardware limitations to decode, which codec do you recommend to get the best quality (image and fps)? x264 or x265?
