The Lock Screen option in Skybox that makes the screen fixed to the center seems to put the virtual screen too high, so the center of my view (where the resolution is highest, and where my eyes naturally want to look) is looking at the bottom half of the virtual screen.
According to other posts which I found in search, it seems other people agree that the vertical position of the screen is too high with Lock Screen.
I'd love to have an option to adjust the offset of the virtual screen, so it can be moved up/down (and optionally side to side) according to the user's preference, even when Lock Screen is enabled, instead of being fixed to the center. Different situations may call for different offsets, such as using in bed, sitting up or leaned back, so ideally it should be adjustable just as when Lock Screen is disabled.
Additionally, it would be nice to have an option to adjust the speed at which the screen snaps back to center, or set it to instant so it's always "following" your head exactly, since the delay of the screen snapping back to center felt a bit disorienting.
Context:
Recently, I went on a long airplane flight and wanted to watch movies on my Quest 3.
This didn't work out that great for a few reasons. In low light conditions (like when they turn the lights down for most of the flight) the camera tracking stops working. So the virtual screen drifts off center and tilts every time the plane makes slight turns.
To counteract this, I enabled the Lock Screen option in Skybox. I thought this option would solve all my issues but not quite. So right now there is no good way to watch videos in VR while in a moving vehicle. Adding this option would make the experience in such scenarios much better. Being able to watch movies in VR on long flights or trains would be a gamechanger for me and likely many other people.
