Future request: Support for MVC 3D file format

They're charging money and complaining.
They don't even care to add more theatre for better experience and FREE Bigscreen VR has plenty of theatres to choose from.

Like I said, this team is very lazy. I paid for the app.

Apologies for the delayed new theater. We plan to release a new Beta version on a monthly basis. More features will be added to the Beta version in the future, including the new IMAX theater.

Great to hear that you will be adding new theatres in Beta. I'm going to apply to join the Beta because that is one of the features that will make this my no.1 movie watching app. Right now I'm using Virtual Desktop because it already has access to lots of new theatres but I am also able to use my PC to watch MVC encoded blu-rays.

6 years since requested lol. I don't think this is coming. Better off getting 4xvr.

Bassquake The official statement claims that version 1.1.8 beta supports playback of mk3d files. I tested it myself, but unfortunately, it fails to play 3D videos encoded in MVC format converted through MakeMKV. The playback is choppy, and it only displays in 2D. I have already sent them an email along with a video sample, hoping that they will provide support soon. I truly don't understand why their development progress is so slow, as the market is gradually being consumed by 4XVR.

Bassquake I totally agree. I was originally a SkyBox fan, but I gave up waiting for MVC support and jumped over to 4xVR. 4xVR blows everything else away with its MVC support. I don’t think I’ve been into SkyBox now for a year or so.

I will only try SkyBox again, when I hear they have finally implemented MVC support, which 4xVR obviously shows is not only possible, but blows away everything else with its original Blu-ray 3D image quality!

I think MVC encoded mk3d solution is the best solution for 3D films. Lossless from 3D BluRay Disk.

Yum If there is license fee, you can still do a more expensive Pro version. You still have an advantage over 4xvr through PC VR support. Dont waste it!
