Skybox support for the Pico4 would be much appreciated , the headset is a noticeable step up from the Quest 2 in terms of hardware and their marketplace is surprisingly solid already, but it’s missing a great video player that offers the viewer more playback options.
I think you guys would be the first such app on there if you don’t count Virtual Desktop. I get why Pico would seem like another niche also-ran from an American perspective because the hardware isn’t sold there (yet?), but the headset has been selling well in Europe since launch and it’s quickly establishing itself as a Quest 2 competitor here and in some Asian countries.
They also have the backing of ByteDance (TikTok) who probably have similar long-term ambitions with their headsets as Facebook/Meta with their Metaverse nonsense, so it’s pretty unlikely they will stop making more Pico headsets anytime soon.
Hope you consider porting the app, i've been a fan of it on Oculus headsets for years!
