I have a lot of movies MKV format , that have 3D video layer and 2D video layer. and reason for that is that in the same file I can choose which layer I want (for exampls - 2D 4K layer that works perfect in Kodi or VLC, or 3D 1080P that work great in skybox on Oculus - there are not mant movies in 4K that they are in 3D as well), so in that I am enjoing all world in same file).
I the past when I calibreate that the 3D layer is first the skybox played it first , and in Kodi the leyer for 2D was the default/forced. in the last update of the skybox it take the default/forced video layer too.
The question if it possible to have the ability to choose video layer exactly like soudtrack in skybox. it will make things much easyer....
