Request of staying at current folder while jump up the layer of directory

Hi guys,
I think I'm requesting a feature which benefits many of us.
Since I managed my videos by folders and played it through SMB. Whenever jumped to upper layer of directory, it always pointed to the first folder. So we have to browse the folders from the very beginning. In this way, it's very time-consuming and annoying.
May I ask a feature of staying at current folder, when jumping to upper layer of directory, instead of resetting to the first folder .
