I’ve noticed after the most recent update that a number of my videos don’t display a thumbnail preview image, just a black screen. It’s not a major issue as they still play ok, just doesn’t look as neat and tidy when you’re looking at the video library screen.

Any reason why that would be?

    Hello, do you play videos from Quest local storage, or stream videos from your computer to headset via SMB, DLNA or AirScreen?

    It may take some time loading the thumbnails of your videos if there're too many videos in the directory.

      Lucy I have the same problem. Approximately half of the thumbnails are not displayed even in the client on a personal computer, although they are displayed normally in Windows Explorer. This problem arose after one of the latest updates.

      p/s This problem only occurs with windows 10 beta client version, when i installed windows 7 and windows 8 client version the problem disappeared.

        Can you share with us(contact@skybox.xyz)) a screenshot or video recording of that issue? Your log files will also help us further check the issue.

        One log file folder is located in C:\Users<Your Username>\AppData\Roaming\SKYBOX\logs.

        We also need to check this other log file folder. Please connect your Quest 2 to your PC through a cable, and share with us the log file folder located in Quest 2\Android\data\xyz.skybox.player.ovr\files\Log. You can compress the log files into a zip file.
