Hi, please click Global Settings and turn on Show FPS to check the version number. We just tested on the latest version 1.1.0(553), and we can find the smb share created by Truenas and play videos in it.
If you can't find your Truenas in v1.1.0(553), please share with us(firstname.lastname@example.org) the log files so we can further investigate the issue. The log files are in Quest 2\Android\data\xyz.skybox.player.ovr\files\Log.
Also, the issue may have something to do with DNS resolution. You can try the ways in the link to troubleshoot.
