More virtual environment

Currently if we play the 2D movies, the virtual environments (VE) available are too few, only one cinema, one in moon, one near a space station. Is it possible to add more? Even a freeware like bigscreen app there are more than 20 and some even suited for lying down as the screeen is in ceiling, and some are very big hovered in a big building which is so cool. Also, even the same VE, they can afford to change the seats and turn the view in 360 angle. It really like physically staying in there and add more vividity. However, they don't support unicode currently and all file names in unicode are become square symbols.

If you add more VE with such features(even it's separately priced), I think it's more attractive for people using it.

Our 3D artists are working on new environments. Please give us more time.

Besides, you can change your seat when you are in Cinema scene. Simply tap "Cinema Scene" to change cinema seat.

When you are in Void, Space Station or Moon scene, you can reset your screen by long-pressing the B / Y button. And this also enables you to watch videos when lying down.

Lucy I too would love to see some more environments. For both the viewer environment and the home environment please. This paid app should have at least the functionality of its freeware rivals lol.

I see here it's been 2 years since you said "Our 3D artists are working on new environments" and you still haven't added more environments. Pretty disappointing. As OP suggested. Even BigScreen (which is free) has many environments to choose from. When are you adding more? Why the delay? Not enough requests for additional environments? The only options in choosing seats is Front, Middle, and Back. That isn't enough. What's great about Bigscreen is you can choose which row you like. I understand BS is a social app so there is actually a need to select each seat and row. This is obviously not required for skybox but at least add a couple more options besides front, middle and back.

Void is great functionality wise but very visually unappealing to sit in. The moon is cool and the space environment is too distracting with the planets in the background.

Hi there,

SKYBOX v1.1.7(beta) is now available. This version brings IMAX theater environment!

You can follow the steps to switch to beta channel:

Visit SKYBOX VR Player product detail page with browser or Meta Quest mobile app. (Make sure you login to your Facebook/Meta account)
Click "Version" and select "v1.1.7 Release: 1.1.7"
Uninstall and reinstall SKYBOX on your Quest.

Lucy honestly the moon, space and all of the rest of envroinments needs some adjustements, making them possibly to recalibrate the view while laying down! i dont like being stuck in the void, as well some have some range limitations that you cannot fully move the screen on the very top, it will slip down!

Advice : Allow people to create their envroinments like quest homes, give them a SDK and some instructions and let the community get creative, the best ones go in a public accessible workshop, even virtual desktop can do better in envroinments because even if they are full 3D ones, it allows to adjust to be enjoyed even while laying down!

Please fix this and make it a functionality.
