"unknown error" trying to access Plex "remote video"

I have a Plex server on my LAN that Skybox/Oculus Quest 2 can access perfectly.

Whenever I try to access one of my over-the-internet Plex servers via "Remote Video", Skybox says "an unknown error occurred".

What troubleshooting steps can I take? Or what info can I post here to clarify the issue?

Are you using version 1.0.5 or beta 1.1.0?

You can click "Global Settings" (the gear icon) to check the version number.

Besides, can you use other devices, like a pc, to access your over-the-internet Plex server via "Remote Video"?
