VR Video Player not compatible with Galaxy S6?

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience, but Galaxy S6 is not compatible with either Gear VR or Daydream platform, so you cannot run any VR apps with it (well maybe some cardboard apps).

I have the Gear VR SM-R322 2015 which is made for the Galaxy S6. I have managed to install the VR Player through the Oculus store. Havn't got it working yet though.

Hi Briansvr,

Honestly I'm not sure if it will work.
We are using the Oculus SDK during our development. It is this SDK who determines whether or not S6 is supported for Gear VR, and there is no specific notice on when they will stop or already stopped this support for S6.
